Check-in is between 16:00 - 16:30 on the arrival date (late check-in by arrangement; please get in touch)

Check-out is by no later than 10:00 on the departure date 

No additonal cleaning, breakages or damage deposit required

Dog Friendly 

The Scottish Highlands is a great place to bring your dog on holiday, with so many fabulous walks; whether beach, forest or glen or, our dogs' favourite just on the doorstep, Reelig Glen Woodland Walk - so bring your dog along too!

maximum of two dogs are allowed; please let us know if you wish to bring your dog along at the time of booking. Conditions apply and an additional fee apply - please see our booking contract for additional information before booking.

Affleck's Garden 

A stone dyke (low wall) & gate form the western (roadside) boundary of the garden. There are fences to the southern & northern boundaries. There is, however, no fence at the water's edge; the stream (Moniack Burn) forms the eastern boundary of the garden.  

Booking and Payment Terms

Bookings can be made by debit card, credit card or by PayPal (with no transaction fees charged) in the following ways -

  • By using our Freetobook online booking widget (enter date and click 'Check Availability' at the top of this page)
  • By using a PayPal payment link (please request by phone or email) 
  • On our Tripadvisor listing (for 3, 7 and 14 day stays) - for short stays using this method, please request a quote via Tripadvisor. Tripadvisor booking fees apply.

Alternative payment methods are -

  • By cheque (for UK residents) 
  • By electronic transfer

For bookings made more than 8 weeks in advance, the booking for a holiday will be effective when a deposit of at least 30% of the holiday price has been received by us. Up to that time it will be a provisional booking, and provisional bookings are normally held for a maximum of 2 days.

The full balance of the total holiday cost will be payable not later than 8 weeks before the holiday begins.

Lead guest contact and party information will be required for all bookings - a link to our guest registration form will be issued with your booking confirmation, where required.

If using our website's online Freetobook widget for bookings, the payment conditions are as follows -

  • A deposit equal to the total cost of the booking is required.
  • The deposit will be refunded according to the cancellation conditions.

Cancellation conditions, in this case, are as follows -

  • If the booking is cancelled less than 56 days before arrival then a charge equal to the full booking amount will be made.
  • If the booking is cancelled 56 or more days before arrival then a charge equal to 30% of the stay will be made.
  • In the event of a no show or booking reduction (after arrival date) the full cost of the booking is charged.
