Our self catering lodge accommodation is within the friendly rural settlement of Moniack, in a pretty Highland Glen, Reelig; Smithywood and Affleck each have their own garden, backed by tall trees on the banks of a stream - Moniack Burn - and off-road parking is provided beside each lodge.

Smithywood Lodge has one bedroom with a fabulous queen-size bed. Affleck Lodge has two bedrooms each with a comfy king-size bed .

Group Bookings - Smithywood sleeps two, but is equipped for entertaining for up to six guests; ideal for friends or family groups of six travelling together - book both lodges and use Smithywood as a comfortable space in which to dine together, for coffee and chat, for planning the next day's adventures or just for get-togethers and relaxing after a day of touring.

Garden boundaries - a low wall or fences form the road-side and southern and northern boundaries of each lodge garden; however, there is no fence at the water's edge - the stream, Moniack Burn, forms the eastern boundary of each garden; therefore, supervision of children and dogs is particularly important within the woodland grounds and, especially, when close to the waterway.

Smoking is not permitted inside the lodges.

Dogs Welcome - dogs stay for free! Up to two of your canine companions are accommodated in Affleck Lodge and up to three are welcome in Smithywood Lodge at no additional charge. All we ask is that you kindly refer to our 'Dogs Welcome' information in our booking contract before booking - please also let us know a little about your companions at the time of booking.
