Group Bookings. Smithywood sleeps two, but is equipped for entertaining for up to six guests; ideal for friends or family groups of six travelling together - book both chalets and use Smithywood as a comfortable space in which to dine together, for coffee and chat, for planning the next day's adventures or just for get-togethers and relaxing after a day of touring.
Garden boundaries - a low wall or fences form the road-side and southern and northern boundaries of each lodge garden; however, there is no fence at the water's edge - the stream, Moniack Burn, forms the eastern boundary of each garden; therefore, supervision of children and dogs is particularly important within the woodland grounds and, especially, when close to the waterway.
Smoking is not permitted inside the lodges.
Dogs Welcome - up to two of your canine companions are accommodated in each lodge at no additional charge. All we ask is that you kindly refer to our 'Dogs Welcome' information in our booking contract before booking - please also let us know a little about your companions at the time of booking.
